Responsibilities
  • Develop Go-to-Market strategy for different industry through overall market research, mid-long term technology trend analysis and macro-economic analysis.
  • Produce business analysis reports for CEO and senior business leadership for internal strategic decisions and external deal initiation.
  • Build analytical models and perform regular financial, competitive, performance, and market analyses for the business in order to comprehensively value business opportunities and ensure well-founded strategies are presented to the CEO.
  • Support the CEO in defining and refining business strategies with a specific focus on designing and implementing new strategic approaches, ideas, and processes that will grow the business resulting in measurable results.
  • Provide short and long-term strategic recommendations to the CEO to develop and capitalize on business opportunities.

Requirements
  • University graduate in Finance, Business Administration or relevant disciplines.  Master degree holder is preferred. 
  • Eight or more years of experience in a strategy management position in a fast paced and dynamic business environment.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills are preferred in order to perform financial analyses for the purpose of assisting in the exploration of strategic options and the development of creative solutions.
  • Proven ability to generate new outlooks for the business on the market e.g. through trend forecasting and innovation.
  • Business acumen and solid financial grounding in driving growth initiatives and identifying business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to obtain and filter information, identify key issues relevant to the achievement of long-term strategic goals, and commit to the realized course of action.
  • Experience in strategic planning and analysis, marketing/market research, competitive intelligence, and corporate business development.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Impeccable reputation for integrity.

VP, Analyst Hong Kong Full Time 1  
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for deal sourcing and origination, able to originate investment opportunities form network customers and business partners
  • Very familiar with healthcare/ biotech/ pharmaceutical sectors
  • Lead investment execution, create formalized pre and post deal process, including due diligence, valuation, approval requirements, transaction documentation, integration work-streams, etc
  • Monitor the financial performance of the company and prepare regular financial analysis
  • Overseeing the process of transaction structuring and assisting in negotiation of investment terms
  • Prepare and give presentation of the investment proposal to Investment Committee

Requirements

Successful candidate should be a degree holder in Finance, Economics or Bio-Science discipline with 5-7 years relevant experience in buy-side or sell-side private equities, direct investment or asset management field, experience in Healthcare industry would be advantageous. The candidate shall also have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and be able to work under minimal supervision. Excellent presentation skills, including good command of spoken and written English and Chinese along with a proactive working attitude would also be essential for this role.

Accounting Manager / Assistant Manager Hong Kong Full Time 1  
Responsibilities
  • Handle financial functions of existing PRC companies set up by project teams; Liaise with PRC agents on book-keeping, bank affairs, PRC tax obligations, annual audit and other regulatory requirements.  Monitor the progress and act as the main HK contact point of these companies.
  • Cooperate with legal & compliance department on setting up new PRC companies upon project teams’ request.  Handle set up of PRC bank accounts and assist in other regulatory affairs.  Set up and hire agents for book-keeping, bank affairs, PRC tax obligations, annual audit and other financial functions.
  • Review and reconcile regularly financial statements of PRC companies with records in Hong Kong Headquarter accounting systems.
  • Assist daily book-keeping and consolidation books in Hong Kong Office.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks in Hong Kong Office.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of accounting standards in Hong Kong and fair understanding of accounting standards in PRC.
  • Knowledge of company’s and bank accounts’ set up process in PRC. Practical experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of taxation and other regulatory requirements of entities set up in PRC.
  • Able to give instructions to and review agent’s work on book-keeping, tax information submission and annual audit, etc.
  • Fluent Mandarin a must. Fluent English is highly recommended as documents are mainly presented in English.
  • Willing to travel to PRC, usually day trip or overnight.  Frequency: low (est. 1-2 times a month)
  • Work independently.
